Big coin in attractive condition with the second hairstyle of the King. The EU commission suggested to show 12 stars along the rim without anything extra in between. But there was year till 2007 there, that is why this radical change happened in 2008. But it is not all. The new hairstyle of Albert II was introduced in 2008 and later the portrait of the first emission 1999 was restored! That is why 2008 is the only year of special portrait of His Majesty. Interesting and unpublished coin with legendary Hyperborea, the land of peoples from the North finally found and positioned next to Kola peninsula in russia (ex. the USSR) on the Rev. The coin is from an old collection and the previous owner informed that no other similar coin is know to him. In 2023-2025 the verification of rarity was conducted. Among all similar to this 4150 coins from Catalonia (Spain), Zealand (Netherlands) and other euro countries no other coin with Hyperborea was detected.
