The discs in this set appear to be in excellent, if not perfect condition. The cover has wear on the corners and edges from being stored for 40 years.
Laserdiscs came out in 1978 and were replaced by DVD's in the mid to late 90's. DVD technology is based on Laserdisc technology. Some movies had more scenes in the laserdisc versions than were included in the subsequent DVD versions.
Legendary filmmaker Frank Capra's last film is apocketful of delights. Among them: Bette Davis as gin-guzzling Apple Annie, Ann-Margaret in her screen debut as Annie's sheltered daughter, Peter Falk in his widely-praised performane as goofy gunsel Joy Boy and the masterful style of the director who brought us "It happened One Night, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington and It's a Wonderful Life.
