General Information

All the items in our store are our own clutter, collected over the years or are unwanted items we have have received as gifts, bonuses or have won in competitions. We are not a business and only enter into private transactions with our bidders.

Be they new or old, all our items are of the highest quality and, unless otherwise stated in the auction, are always in full working order. We do not sell any item that we think is faulty or tatty unless we think someone out there may have a use for it.

Most of our items will come with their original packaging, which we try to keep, or if not will be appropriately wrapped for transport.


Terms & Conditions

 

Payments

We offer a wide variety of payment options:

Personal Cheque and Direct Bank Transfer: These are our preferred methods of payment, they do not incur charges for either the seller or the purchaser. 

Bankers Draft and Postal Order: These methods normally involve a small charge to the purchaser, but they avoid the necessity to open an account with an online banking service.

Credit Cards: We cannot accept credit card payments directly, but can accept them through Paypay.

Online Banking Service: We can accept payments through PPPay, PayPal. Please avoid using these services for inexpensive items, the charges are ridiculous (especially PayPal) and are the reason most sellers inflate the postage charges.

Delivery Methods & Times

We will endeavour to despatch any item you buy from us within a few days of purchase. However, NO item will be despatched prior to payment and all payments must have cleared at our bank before goods are sent.

Delivery will be via the most cost effective means. In the case of goods with a high value, insurance will be required as a standard condition of the sale. Any special delivery requirements such as next day or before 9am etc. will incur additional charges.

Once despatched we have no control over how long the courier takes to deliver and therefore cannot offer any guarantees in relation to when an item will arrive at its destination.

Where possible we are happy to allow goods to be collected from us, but this must be by prior arrangement.

IMPORTANT: Always check any packages you receive from us for damage or missing items before signing for them or allowing the delivery agent to leave your premises. If you do not check them you may find it very hard to make an insurance claim against the carrier. We accept NO responsibility for any items damaged or lost in the post, this is the responsibility of the carrier.

Returns & Refunds

Items purchased as 'used' are sold 'as seen' and will only be accepted for return under very exceptional circumstances. Items that were sold as 'in good working order' should function as described, so if an item appears to be faulty or does not appear to do what was claimed in the auction, please contact us for advice before asking for a refund. If, after you have contacted us, we agree the item may be faulty, we will accept it back for testing. If the item does prove to be faulty we will refund you the purchase price (excluding carriage charges) of the item. If the item does not prove to be faulty we will return it to you. If the cost of returning the item to you is excessive, we will ask you to pay the return carriage charge or alternatively will negotiate a refund of some portion of the purchase price that reflects the costs we have incurred dealing with your returned item.

Any item we sell as 'Brand New' will be brand new and will have a full manufacturer's warranty complete with the necessary registration documents. As stated previously, we are not a business and therefore have no direct/indirect connection with any manufacturer. However, where possible, we will assist in any way we can should you have problems with any new item you purchase from us.
