About Me My name is Frank and I am 66 years of Age. I have been registered on eBid now for nearly 4 years although I took a break from selling in October 2009 while I concentrated on setting up a Genealogy design business producing Family history and local history interactive DVD,s and Also family history books for clients. I have now decided to offer these products on eBidNovember 2011 Since I wrote the above my life has taken on a new Dimension, In October 2010 after a few problems with Swallowing I was Diagnosed with a twisted stomach and in Dec 2010 I was disagnosed with chronic dysphagia. on Easter sunday in 2011 I was admitted to Hospital and put onto a gastro Nasal feeding tube after losing 5 stone in a very short period of time, While I was in Hospital 2 weeks at Portsmouth and two weeks in Southampton I underwent all kinds of Scans and a Muscle Biopsy and was diagnosed with a rare Imflammatory muscle disease called Dermatomyositis. Since that time I am at home now making slow progress, I have a carer come in every morning as I cannot reach above my shoulders to wash my face and neck or to comb my hair and also need to rely on a wheel chair when I go out of the house as all the muscles in my body are weak, but they are and will get stronger with Time, Physio and Medication, so that is why I have not been active on Ebid, however I am now starting to function again so I am giving it another go but very slowly to start with. |
