Some Information About retiredvovo

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Hi!

Coming from the "Collecting Generation", I am an avid collector.  I currently - [Yes, I think of collecting as being a very fluid activity subject to change at any given moment.] - collect Riviera Fiesta Ware, Portuguese Hand Painted Pottery, Vintage and Antique Buttons, Old Button Collecting Magazines, Vintage Toy Sewing Patterns, Vintage Toy Crochet Patterns, Hand Turned Local Pottery, and anything that tickles my fancy.

As a result of collecting for many years, I have acquired [Okay, I have hoarded] a huge amount of stuff - I mean "choice keepsakes" of all sorts.  I have blue and white milk glass, souvenirs of all types, some Burwood and Syroco collectibles, HOMCO.  I/We have collected or picked various items from New England to South West Virgina.  We get must of our treasures from auctions, but also go to yard sales, antique shops, second hand stores.  Heck - We are just addicted to the hunt at this point.

We started out in New England...Lived there over sixty years.  Yes, we are retirees.  We now live in Virginia.  This is our "last big adventure".

We have been married for ages.  We have one patriotic son, a loving daughter in law, and two superfragilististicexpialidocious grandsons.  They all reside in New England.

I am an Old WAC and say that with much pride as there are not too many of us left. I was on active duty from 1971 to 1979.

So what do I sell...
 - Some of my collected treasures for one
 - Some yarn so that I can destash a little bit to make room for my treasures
I am not on any social network.  Truly, this is as "exposed" as I want to get.  I feel naked as it is.  I did not even do an "about me" page at the last selling site I was on.  I find it very difficult to lay it all out to strangers.  Sorry - I do.  I am really a very private person.

Now for the official return policy..Trumpets Please.
Real Simple - NO QUESTIONS ASKED
To receive a refund of your handling fees (if any), your original postage, and the price of your item - then, simply
a.  return the unused item in the same condition in which it was sent to you, and
b.  preferably in the same container {but not required}, and
c.  preferably with all the same packing materials {but not required},
no later than eight calendar days after you received the item.  The only other requirement in all of this is that I must receive the tracking number also within this timeframe.  Another words, the item must be mailed and I must receive the tracking number no later than eight calendar days after you received the item.

I must say, I have never had anything returned...but just in case, this is the policy.

Oh yes, I will not pay for you to return the item to me.  That is, you pay for return shipping.

I hope this makes sense/cents to you.  If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me.

I usually ship six days a week.

I normally check my bids, purchases, and emails, at least, twice daily.

Payments
 - All payments are expected within 24 hours of being invoiced.
 - If you are making payment with a money order or check, then it must arrive within eight calendar days of being invoiced.
 - - I have the perogative to cancel the transaction if payment is not made within these time frames.  I feel this is fair to you, me, and the other bidders/purchasers.
