The Old Bat's Cave
Fly in for a browse................ My name is The Old Bat (or Linsey) In my cave, I sell all sorts of items which I no longer have a use for. I only sell things in a condition which I would be happy to buy myself. It might be books I've read, music I've grown bored with, clothes which I've outgrown both in size or fashion, or just odds and ends which are gathering dust. I'll put them on here on the basis that one man's trash is another's treasure, and somebody somewhere might just be looking for something I want to sell. I will try to describe any faults with an item as clearly as possible, and will try to take pictures which give a true to life image. I won't rip you off on postage and packing - I know how annoying it is to realise that someone's trying to charge you £5.00 to post a video that you know could be sent for half that. I will, for the majority of items, use new packaging, with clear address labels and a return address (just in case) - if you want extra insurance, please tell me and I will get a price for you. I won't make you wait ages for something you've bought - I will post the next day for most things, so you're not kept waiting. If there's a problem, I will e-mail you. If I'm buying from you, you can expect me to pay quickly, in the manner which you have specified. In return, I ask that you post my item quickly, and don't keep me hanging about. Finally, I always leave feedback when I receive your payment, usually within 24 hours and I hope that you will have the courtesy to let me know when you receive your item, by leaving feedback for me. If there is any kind of problem, please let me know - I'm sure we can work it out (reminds me of a song I once heard.............) If you have any questions, please ask - I'm very friendly and will do all I can to help make your e-bid experience a good one. I too have been selling for six years at the "other" place, using the same ID, so you can check out my feedback there - all good so far! Cheques & postal orders and paypal also accepted - I regret that once I have entrusted an item to the Royal Mail, then it is no longer my responsibility. Hope to deal with you soon!
