All obvious defects are described. Condition of books:
Mint (M) = as new
Fine (F) = showing minimal signs of use
Very Good (VG) = a clean second-hand copy
Good (G) = a reading copy only
DW = dust wrapper
All books are hardback unless otherwise described as card covers or (PB) paperback.
First Editions are highlighted by (1st) following publisher's name.
Expanded descriptions can be provided on request.
PAYMENT
Payment accepted by sterling cheque or Paypal ONLY.
POSTAGE
The buyer pays the actual cost of postage - unfortunately some books are heavy. I will combine the cost of postage for multiple items if possible but the weight can mean that costs aren’t greatly reduced. All books are posted within 5 days of payment (usually sooner) but I have no control of postal times, particularly overseas when more than one delivery company is involved.
’SELLERS STANDARD DELIVERY’ to UK addresses will cover either 1st class, 2nd class or standard parcel rate to the UK depending on the weight of the book. The Royal Mail estimates 3-5 working days from posting date.
’SELLERS STANDARD INTERNATIONAL RATE’ covers airmail delivery to all European destinations and surface mail to other parts of the world. The Royal Mail estimates, airmail 2-4 weeks and surface mail postage to all other areas worldwide 2-12 weeks. I always obtain a certificate of posting. I cannot claim compensation for lost items until this time period has elapsed but will always do so if necessary. Lost books are, in my experience, very rare. Postage times for surface mail items recently (especially USA and Australia) have taken up to the 12 weeks. If you are concerned about postage times please opt for airmail postage (additional charge) and wait for invoice before paying for book. For additional postage services (such as signed for, or insurance) please email for a quotation before bidding.

Buyers please leave feedback when you have received your book and are happy with the transaction and I will do the same when I know that you are satisfied. I tend to do these in occasional batches but I promise it will be left.
