September 2013 - Glitterama Crafts Was Born

SHOP STORY

I was always creative but never had time to really do anything about it until a few years ago when I became very ill and could no longer work. After a couple of spinal operations, I knew that I couldn't go back to work for at least another couple of years so I decided this was the time to start doing something creative.

From the moment I opened my first pack of polymer clay I was hooked. I absolutely loved it! It took my mind off the constant pain and gave me something to feel proud of. My poor Husband spent those years of my illness doing virtually everything....working full-time, cooking, cleaning, shopping and looking after me. I joined a website to sell my handcrafted items and started bringing a little bit of money in. It made me feel that I was helping (ever so slightly) taking some of the pressure off my Husband.

I returned to work in 2012 but missed selling so much that by September 2013 we decided that it was time for me to work online full time for myself and signed up for my first online "shop" on another site.

SHOP STOCK

I sell a mix of jewellery making and craft supplies, as well as some of my own handmade creations (although I don't get much time for creating these days).   Once my shop is up and running it will include the following categories of items.....

Handmade by Me, Jewellery Making Tools & Kits, Metal Stamping Supplies, Beads, Wire, Cabochons, Pendants & Charms, Connectors & Findings.

COMBINED SHIPPING

If you buy more than one item in any single order, overpayments of post and packing (shipping and handling) will be refunded back to your payment account once your parcel has been packed and weighed.

SHOP POLICIES

I expect my customers to be 100% happy with their purchase.  If for any reason you are not, please don't hesitate to contact me.  

DAMAGED ITEMS
If an item arrives damaged please be kind enough to supply me with a photograph of the damage to enable me to make a claim against whichever office have damaged it.   A full refund of cost and postage will be made in this circumstance.

POSTAL DELAYS 
If the package takes longer to deliver than it "should", that is an issue to address with your local post office or mail sorting office. I am not responsible for shipping/postal companies operating both within the UK and Internationally.

LOST IN THE MAIL 
Although I cannot be responsible for the postal service, I do want you to end up with a lovely item.  I will replace or refund your order at no charge if it does not arrive within: 
3 Weeks of the date of posting if you are in the UK.
7 Weeks of the date of posting if you are in any other country (due to potential customs delays/severe weather delays).

I NO LONGER WANT THE ITEM (NOT YET SHIPPED)
If you change your mind about your purchase and it is not yet shipped, contact me as soon as possible and you will receive a full refund of cost and postage - no reason needed.

I NO LONGER WANT THE ITEM (ALREADY SHIPPED)
If you change your mind about your purchase and no longer want it, please contact me within 14 days of receipt and return the item within 30 days. You will be entitled to a full refund of cost and postage once I receive the item back, securely packaged and in the same condition it was shipped in, with return shipping to be paid by the buyer.  You will receive your refund within 14 days of my receipt of the goods.
