At UKR Design, we believe in plain English.
Orders:
All the information in this store is given in good faith, mainly supplied by the manufacturers, and products are offered subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we will advise you by Email with the option of a full refund if you do not wish to wait.
Privacy:
We will never pass any of your personal details onto any other company. We only collect the minimum personal information required to fulfil your transactions when you order products from us so that we can send them to you and contact you in the event of a problem.
Payments:
We are "PayPal Verified" traders and consider this to be the most secure method of buying on line with your credit card. For your added security, Paypal do not pass your card details to us. If you do not have a credit card or do not wish to use PayPal, we can accept a direct bank transfer. As a last resort, we will accept a cheque payable to D.Knockton, but please allow an extra 7 days for us to pay in and clear the cheque before the goods are despatched. For small orders, you may send an uncrossed postal order.
Carriage:
P&P charges shown are for individual items. For purchases of several items the p&p is combined and based on the total weight of the order which normally offers a saving. When you have finished your shopping and go to the checkout, you can view the prices of your items including any discounts and the total p&p cost - so you have the opportunity to amend or cancel your order before you pay. If you do happen to pay and change your mind, please see "cancellations" below.
UK: Normally, small parcels up to 2kg are sent by Royal Mail and larger parcels by Parcelforce. We always try to dispatch as soon as possible, usually the day after payment is received during weekdays, but to allow for busy days and the postal service, please allow about 7 days. Postal charges shown are for most mainland addresses in the UK served by the Royal Mail but please select your region, particularly if you live in London, remote areas or offshore islands, including:
Highlands & Islands: IV; HS; KA27-28; KW; PA20-49; PA60-78; PH17-26; PH30-44; PH49-50; ZE.

Ireland: Normally packages up to 2kg are sent by Royal Mail Air Mail Signed For. However, for low priced items, the cost of the postage can be disproportionate to the cost of the item so we offer a choice:
1. Standard Air Mail: cheaper but not signed for or tracked so any loss or damage in transit will be at buyer's risk.
1. Signed For Air Mail: Generally about £4.95 extra but tracked and signed for. Any loss or damage would be claimed from the Royal Mail and refunded or the items replaced within 30 days.
Packages over 2kg are normally sent by ParcelForce Euro 48 so the above does not apply.
Cancellations:
If you should make a mistake or change your mind please email us immediately. If we receive your message before the goods are despatched we will issue a full refund for the amount you have paid. If the goods have already been despatched, you will need to return to the address below at your own expense. As long as the goods are received by us within 7 days and in the same condition as we sent them, we will issue a refund less the p&p. We do not make any re-stocking or other charge.
Returns:
Please unpack and inspect your item(s) on receipt. Our quality control and checks are very effective but we realise that occasionally a faulty item may get through or damaged in transit. In the unlikely event of receiving a faulty item, please email immediately and return within 7 days in the original packaging and I will send a replacement. If you are not satisfied with the item, you may return within 7 days from delivery. Items must be returned, at the Buyer's expense, in their original state and packaging. Buyers should ensure that any goods returned for any reason are suitably packaged to ensure safe transit and receipt by the seller without loss or damage in transit. A full refund of the purchase price less any carriage charges will be paid on receipt. We do not make any re-stocking or other charge. If you are returning an item for any reason, please help us and email first, quoting your name, address and date of payment. Thank you.

We will deal with your complaint promptly in a fair and friendly manner and will do our best to resolve the problem to your satisfaction. Being exclusively mail order, we do not have facilities for personal callers.
