NOTE

At present time is in short supply so please bear with me if there is a short delay in my either sending out Auction Winners Emails or in replying to emails/messages sent to me. [If I could sit in a nice warm room, on the PC 24/7 I would. However I can not and as such I WILL reply to all emails/messages within (at least) 24 Hours of their reciept].

If you chose to bid on our Auctions, I would like to thank you in advance as every penny we collect is very much needed at the moment and with this current Christmas period we are finding donations harder to come by, but the number of abandoned pets rising!

Thank you for your continuing support. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all. And if possible try NOT to have Fireworks this year (or ever) as all pets & wild animals suffer for our brief enjoyment of their 'Whizzes & Bangs' ....... plus the money wasted on fireworks could so easily be spent better elsewhere caring for all the sick & abandoned pets our caring society abandon each year without thought?

UPDATE 2011

November 2011

CHARITY NEWS

The ALL NEW Cats Protection Charity ''KITTY IN THE CITY" here in Brighton & Hove, which we help and support via these auctions (plus our own personal help) has finally been set up 'Officially' and is at present in desperate need of funds to help complete this Initial Set up stage [building new Pens, printing Flyers, paying for vet care and food for our current charges, etc....] and then to help with the ongoing cost's of running and maintaining an Animal Rescue & Re-Homing Charity.

By choosing to purchase any of our Auction Items you are then helping to support this very much needed charity service which was formally run under the national guise of the Cats Protection League, but due to ever changing demands of this 'national' charity, mainly to the detriment of the feline charges, the long established local network of volunteer workers/carers have now parted company and set up on our own as Kitty in the City.

At present we have a Facebook Page -   http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kitty-in-the-City-Cat-Rescue-Brighton/188974037836948?ref=ts  and as soon as I have confirmed details of upcoming events I will post them on this page.

Our FIRST EVENT

Christmas Fair

Saturday 26th November 2011  @ St George's Church Hall, Court Farm Road, Hangleton, Hove, Sussex, BN3 7QR

                             [Start Time - 2pm - 4pm - Everyone is welcome ]

30p Entry Fee - ALL proceeds go to the charity [Reg No. 1144129]

If your in the area and free to attend you will be most welcome and we hope to see as many people as possible to help make this first fund raiser a first success of many to come.

THANK YOU for your support

The Brighton & Hove Cats Rescue Charity now know as :-

                                                          KITTY IN THE CITY

_______________________________________________

For the year ending December 2010 our donation to the Cats Protection League - Brighton & Hove was a GRAND TOTAL of £250.00.

This total was made up of an initial 'Work's & Friends' Christmas Collection Drive where I collected donations of Bedding, Toys, home-made Cat-nip toys and general items for the cats - plus a cash collection which raised £100 - a 'small' but not insignificant sum - still of great value to the charity where ever pound counts.

The second part of our 'Donation Collection' was made up of approximately £50 from our Ebid auctions - [A BIG Thank You to all you Ebidders for your purchases over the past year - PLEASE keep them up and help support this very deserving charity] ...... and a final personal donation on the part of my husband and myself bring the grand total up to £250.

As every penny/pound COUNTS - I hope you will continue to support my auctions - and my chosen charity. [Verification of these donations can be obtained from Anita who handles the Fund Raising matters of the B&H CP Branch - on 01273 508406 - Just mention Mary - 'Mr Blue & CK' and Frost's] Full contact details can be found on their website :-

                             http://www.brightoncatsprotection.org.uk/contact/index.html

One favour I would like to add - To all the NON PAYING BIDDERS out there (and there are many) - PLEASE do not waste my time by bidding on our auctions - it's not big or clever and at the end of the day you achieve nothing other than simply wasting your time!

Anyway THANK YOU once more to those of you that have helped by completing your auction purchase and do not forget to come back and keep checking out our listing - plus do not forget to tell your friends & family to do the same - all Paying Bidders are most welcome.

Have a great year and keep up your bidding

       MARY

UPDATE 2010

90% of my auctions are NOW in aid of my local CATS PROTECTION Charity with all proceeds (after postage deduction) going to them in a one-off annual payment.

For the year ending 2009 our donation was £150 from auctions with a further £100 from personal donations made by close families and friends - In addition to this I made a one off donation of a dozen 'hand made' sleeping beds and a large quantity of Catnip toys - all much appreciated by this over worked charity & their charges!

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please NOTE - Any over-payment will now be retained and added to the 'pot' for the Cats Protection League.

Plus should you wish to make a donation on top of your auction total - it would be gratefully received.

Currently there has been a large influx of abandoned cats (due possibly to the recent recession) and whilst cat numbers have increased (along with increased vet fees and food costs)  - donations have decreased! - so ANY amount is gratefully received - Thank you

Welcome to Bandit_f1 Auction and thank you for stopping by

Firstly, due to some confusion (?) I must make it clear that I do not offer either

PAYPAL   -   PPPAY  -  [OR now NOCHEX !!!]

                                As payment options .........SORRY!

These Auctions are run by me and my partner, where we offer a wide range of various items, most of which are BRAND NEW and are just waiting for a New Home and someone new to appreciate them.

As well as selling items for ourselves, we also sell many items for Friends & Family and as such, sometimes we can not combine P&P on multiple wins, as with these items in particular, they are stored away from us and as such it is not possible to send them together in the same parcel ...... sorry. Where this is the case, the term “SET PRICE CARRIAGE” will appear in the auction description .......... But if I can combine lots, I will.

PAYMENT .... We only accept Personal Cheques (£) ..... Postal Orders OR Cash (£) ......... we have in the past tried Paypal and other electronic payment methods, which for us, proved too costly ....... as the fees charged often exceeded the Auction Total ........ plus as we sell for our family & friends, it made dividing up their money a nightmare! ........ SO, SORRY ... NO PAYPAL   ................. [ Also No Personal Callers - No Collection In Person]

((( In addition, we have now [in the past 12 months] had two Major disputes with PAYPAL [using another auction site ] and have been left out-of-pocket on both occassions!!! )))

After close of any auction I will normally contact you, within 24 hours, with Full Payment & contact details ............ and we allow up to 10 Days for receipt of payment.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A NOTE for Bidders with Zero (0) Feedback Ratings
Sorry but due to a raft of New Users with Zero Feedbacks now defaulting on many auctions I now no longer hesitate in leaving Negative Feedback for them, adding them to my Black List and then reporting them to Ebid Support ........  If this statement applies to you - stick to Ebay where your antics are more appropriate!
