Some Information About AmberPleasure

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

All of Amber Pleasure's items are located in UK and were handmade in Poland from original Baltic Amber and .925 sterling silver. All our jewellery is brand new and has been correctly hallmarked. We do not deal with plated or bonded silver. All of the pictures were made by us, they show the actual product that You are buying.

Constantly creating new designs is our policy to make our offer up to date and interesting for our business partners but our priority is the beauty of amber stones we use accompanied by highest quality silverwork. We only use genuine Baltic amber in a variety of shades trying to emphasize the best features of each stone.

Generally about amber:

It radiates sun and solar energy, transmutes negative into positive energy, promoting positive thinking and attitude. A good luck charm for travellers. Activates the solar plexus and root chakra. Amber revitalizes mind, body and soul.

Amber is fossil tree resin, which is appreciated for its colour and beauty. Good quality amber is used for the manufacture of ornamental objects and jewellery. Most of the world's amber is in the range of 30-90 million years old. Because it used to be soft and sticky tree resin, amber can sometimes contain insects and even small vertebrates. Amber occurs in a range of different colours. As well as the usual yellow-orange that is associated with the colour "amber", amber itself can range from a whitish colour through a pale lemon yellow, to brown and almost black. Amber from the Baltic Sea has been extensively traded since antiquity and in the main land, from where amber was traded 2000 years ago, the natives called it glaes (referring to its see-through similarity to glass).

Sterling silver:

The sterling silver standard has a minimum millesimal fineness of 925. Sterling is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.
