Original 1980 Italian 39 inch x 55 inch 2 Fogli Poster for the 1979 Douglas Hickox Adventure ZULU DAWN, from an original story by Cy Endfield and starring Burt Lancaster, Simon Ward, Denholm Elliott, Peter Vaughan, James Faulkner, Christopher Cazenove, Bob Hoskins, David Bradley, Nicholas Clay, Phil Daniels, Peter O'Toole, Nigel Davenport, Michael Jayston, Ronald Lacey, Ken Gampu, John Mills, Freddie Jones and Anna Calder-Marshall.
A dramatization of the Battle of Isandlwana, where the British Army met its match against the Zulu nation.
Poster art by Enzo Sciotti. Born in 1944 in Rome, Sciotti began working in a graphics studio producing movie posters in 1960, eventually opening his own studio 15 years later. By the 1980s he had become one of the best-known European artists of cinema posters.
The poster is in fine folded condition.
