Original British 17 inch x 22 inch Trade Advertisement removed from a British Film Trade Journal for the 1937 Arthur Woods Comedy YOU LIVE AND LEARN, based on the story "Have You Come for Me?" by Norma Patterson and starring Glenda Farrell, Claude Hulbert, Glen Alyn, John Carol, James Stephenson and Gibb McLaughlin.
Farrell is an American nightclub dancer stranded in Paris who marries an admirer, Hulbert’s nitwitted Englishman, visiting France to collect an inheritance. This proves to be worthless and she discovers that she has become hitched to a poor farmer, a widower with three children. Trying to make the best of it , she encounters hostility from the local villagers but settles down happily in the end.
The advert is in very good condition with one vertical centre fold. There are 2 sets of staple holes along the centre fold.
