Xentari - Box Caterpillar Control

For control of Boxwood Moth Caterpillar

You receive 2 x 1g packets

Active ingredient is Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)

Bt is a naturally occurring bacterium found in soils

It is readily embraced by the organic gardening community

Mix 1g with 1 litre of water in a sprayer to cover 10 square metres of boxwood

Thoroughly spray all the leaves

Bt makes toxins that target caterpillars when eaten. In their gut, the toxins are activated

Bt create toxins only activated in caterpillars, so are safe for other insects

Apply treatment at temperature +10C, preferably morning or evening

Apply on dry leaves, and when no rain for 4 hours after treatment

A second treatment is recommended after 10 days
