Beautiful print of a Lancaster painting on a felt-backed coaster, fronted with a protective clear acrylic sheet - hand-signed by the artist, aviation art specialist Robin Smith, on the reverse in silver pen.
Size 115 x 90 mm.
Concentrating on aviation subjects which is his passion, Robin has become a well collected aviation artist around the world and has undertaken many significant commissions. He says about 'Sunset Saviours': "The Lancaster is one of my favourite aircraft to paint ... The basic concept of the image was to catch the aircraft in a sunset environment with the sun just catching the tops of the clouds. The image was to depict the Lanc in a none aggressive way, peacefully flying its way in the company of another Lanc."
