The leaflet is similar to leaflet G.3/1942; however, it features additional propaganda text added in green and red overprint.

“This is one of the most extraordinary leaflets ever produced. It is a reprint of the main Nazi newspaper on a smaller scale. In October 1941 Hitler was certain he had won his war against the Soviet Union. Only 11 weeks later in January 1942 his prediction was proven a fatal error as the Red Army was attacking and the German troops retreating and the way paved to losing the war." (Kirchner, The Leaflet Collector 1, p. 68).

Folded, creasing and rubbing, some light soiling and a few short tears to outer edges.  Annotation in pencil in lower margin: “Cologne October 15, 1952. G.55/42”.
