Original 15 3/4 inch x 23 1/2 inch Engraving titled WOUNDED GERMAN SOLDIERS ON THEIR WAY TO THE REAR.
At the time of the Franco-Prussian War.
Engraved by Horace Harral (1817 - 1905). Harral was a prominent London wood engraver and etcher, who, with his brother, Alfred Harral, engraved numerous cuts for the “Illustrated London News” and “The Graphic”.
From The Graphic April 27, 1870
The engraving is in very good condition with 1 vertical centre fold.
