***I usually despatch worms the same day.  Occasionally if there is bad weather that can stop me accessing my worms which are outside.  It may then take a little longer to send them. (I have no shortage of worm stocks!) I always strive to get your worms off to you right away! Wormkits are despatched in the evenings, so orders that come in during the day will be despatched that night.  Orders received in the evening will leave the following evening.***

 You will receive: 

1. Breathable bag that contains the worm substrate - with a healthy population of resident worms. (Supplied in a specially made breathable bag to keep them alive on the journey.)

2. The comprehensive instruction leaflet (that is constantly being updated.)

3. The plastic container where your worms will live.

4. Plastic mesh - where you will feed your worms.

5. Extra sealed bag of substrate to mix with the contents of the worm bag.

6. Small sample packet of food to give you something to feed them with initially.

In the past, I have bought worm cultures myself, which have arrived with about 6 worms inside!  - This bag will have been primed with a healthy population. 

Other pictures show my own fish feeding from a glass ramikin that is situated in the corner of the tank. 

I use this, to limit the number that end up burrowing into the black sand in my tank!

The fish will catch those that end up in the sand, but by using a feeding bowl, it enables me to be able to assess how many they have still got to eat.  - If they are buried in the sand, I cannot see this! 

When harvesting my worms, they are put into a water jug, and then I use a turkey baster to suck them and deposit them into the feeding bowl!

 ****Also, please note:  The worms I breed for sale, are not produced in a sterile laboratory environment.  They are in large containers outside.  They are exposed to normal weather conditions and temperature fluctuations.  The containers are also not airtight.  I have vast amounts of worms, and I will always ensure that I give you as many worms as I can in your package/s.  However, sometimes you may find other bugs in amongst the whiteworms.  This is because the worms live in a composting ecosystem, and the substrate can potentially contain other bugs.  I try to manage this where I can, but occasionally you may get some additional creatures you weren't expecting. 

**Returns for this item are inappropriate. If you kill your worms, don't expect a refund. If you try to exploit this situation, you will be blocked.**

You can buy several wormkits for the one postage charge as the postage charge covers a weight up to 2kgs.  If any overpayment is received for larger quantities, it will be refunded back to you.
