Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1967 Andrew V. McLaglen Western THE WAY WEST starring Kirk Douglas, Robert Mitchum, Richard Widmark, Lola Albright, Sally Field, Jack Elam, Stubby Kaye, Harry Carey Jr. and William Lundigan.

In 1843, a former U.S. Senator leads a wagon train of settlers to Oregon, but his megalomania leads to growing dissatisfaction with his leadership.

Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.

The poster is in fine folded condition.
