This is one of the well-known 'Profile' series from the 1970s, covering the Japanese Navy battleships IJN Yamato and Musashi.   The text details their design and construction ; hull features and armour ; the 18 inch main battery guns and secondary armament ; sea handling, engines and other technical aspects ; and their wartime careers and eventual fates.    It is heavily illustrated, with an attractive four page colour centrefold of Yamato as she was in October 1944 at the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

The booklet is in fair condition, with minor wear.
