Original 1929 British 17 1/2 inch x 12 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1928 Viktor Tourjansky German Drama VOLGA VOLGA (WOLGA WOLGA) starring Hans Adalbert Schlettow, Lillian Hall-Davis, Rudolf Klein-Rogge, Gustl Gstettenbaur, Valy Arnheim, Feodor Chaliapin Jr., Georg John, Philipp Manning, Ellen Plessow and Max Schreck.
Wolga Wolga tells the story of the legendary Don Cossack leader Stenka Razin (1630-1671), who turned against the boyars and made the Volga unsafe as a pirate.
On the reverse is the 1928 Irving Cummings & Raoul Walsh Western IN OLD ARIZONA, based on the story "The Caballero's Way" by O.Henry and starring Warner Baxter, Edmund Lowe, Dorothy Burgess, Henry Armetta, James Bradbury Jr., Joe Brown, Frank Campeau, Alphonse Ethier, John Webb Dillion, Jim Farley ,Soledad Jiménez, Ivan Linow, Tom London, Helen Lynch, J. Farrell MacDonald and Evelyn Selbie.
A charming, happy-go-lucky bandit in old Arizona plays cat-and-mouse with the sheriff trying to catch him while he romances a local beauty.
