Vogue sewing pattern V1891, for Misses' jacket and trousers/pants.
Difficulty Rating: Average.
Loose-fitting, unlined topper with asymmetrical hem, raglan sleeves with wide cuffs, side panel and hood. View A has separating front zipper, side seam pockets, purchased bias armhole facings, flat felled seams and contrast hood lining and cuffs. View B has front button and thread loop closure, contrast sleeves, French seams and purchased bias hem binding. Pull-on pants have draped inside leg.
FABRICS: A, B: Linen, Eyelet Fabric, Silk Crepe. Also for Contrast B: Stretch Mesh. C: Moderate Stretch Knits (50% Cross Grain): Rayon/Spandex, Cotton/Spandex. See Stretch Gauge. Interfacing A, B: Organza. Unsuitable for obvious diagonals.
NOTIONS: A: One 24" (61 cm) Separating Zipper. B: One 11/8" (2.8 cm) Button, One pkg. of 1/4" (0.6 cm) wide double-fold bias tape.
