Vogue sewing pattern V1669, for Misses' retro 1940s coat. This pattern is new, but the design is taken from an original pattern, circa 1949.
Difficulty Rating: Advanced.
Misses’ fitted and lined coat with princess seaming, extended shoulders, shoulder pads, two-piece sleeves with bias cuffs, side seam pockets with flaps, stitched hems.
Suggested fabrics: Men's suiting, flannel, tweed, lightweight woollens. Contrast A: Taffeta, satin, velvet. Interfacing: Hair canvas.
This pattern is available in a choice of size
combinations; A5(6,8,10,12,14) or E5(14,16,18,20,22). Please see below for
