Vintage Grey Lyvia Plastic Torch/Flashlight for Refurbishment or Spare Parts

• Era: Uncertain but could be anywhere from 1980’s-2000’s
• Size: 16.5cm long x 9cm wide x 14cm tall
• Weight: 240g without batteries and at least 572g with batteries (rechargeables)
• Batteries: Takes five R20 or D type batteries
• Condition: For spare parts or refurbishment but probably can be made to work again. Just needs some contacts cleaned. Light bulb definitely works when powered separately (see one of the images). Although the white front cover fits well and stays in place, a white plastic locking pin is no longer present on the lower part of the front lid. Examine the images carefully to see what you will be buying.
• General Comments: This is a hand held large plastic torch/flash light. It is only suitable for repairs or for spare parts. However, as the bulb seems to work it probably just needs some of its contacts cleaned. The torch was made in Hong Kong. Batteries could be accessed by taking the front white cover off. Must have been quite a powerful light beam seeing how many batteries are used. It would have been operated by a simple on-off switch. No batteries included. Check the rarity of this torch by looking for it on EBid or E-Bay. It should be of interest to torch refurbishers, collectors of torches or torch/electrical appliance museums.
• The last image is a 3D anaglyph. If you put on stereo anaglyph glasses with the red filter over the left eye and the blue/green filter over the right eye then you can see inside the torch/flashlight in 3D.
