Vintage Corn Husk Doll 5-1/4” tall Lady Carrying Baby in Her Arm w Toy Bird
A nice Corn Husk Doll in a floor length dress and she is holding her baby in her one arm. The Baby is holding a toy bird on the end of a long stick. Both the Lady and her baby have head scarfs on that mostly cover there brown hair.
The doll is 5-1/4 inches tall X 3-1/4” wide X 2-3/4” deep (13.4 X 8.2 X 7 cm) (including the baby). This doll weighs 20 grams.

A corn husk doll is a Native American toy, a doll made out of the dried leaves or "husk" of a corn cob. Making corn husk dolls was adopted by early European settlers in the United States of America.
I have a total of 11 different Corn Husk Dolls for sale as seen in the picture. This sale is for the one doll from the set of 11 dolls.
I bought these Corn Husk Dolls at an auction. They were selling of the contents of a small museum, located in a campground, not too far from where I live. Most of the items from the auction were from the 1800’s to the 1950’s. Unfortunately I do not have any idea of the vintage of these particular Corn Husk Dolls nor of their history.
The dolls are stored in poly bags and will be wrapped in tissue paper then bubble pack of foam sheeting and shipped in a small box.
