Genuine Vintage 9ct Gold Vermeil Massive Boulder Opal Signet Ring
Hello there and welcome (kroeso) to my wee store.
I sell online in high-end shops and websites and pre-Covid used to attend trade fairs around the globe. I have a huge stock of "bargain basement" items which were great at fairs for inexpensive extras. I also have a massive stock of highly valuable and collectable items never seen before on the internet.
This is part of my prized collection of jewellery that gets used in re-enactments and occasionally on TV and film sets. Yes you will feel like a film star wearing this lol.
ABOUT THIS RING
Constructed from solid 9ct Gold Vermeil (Gold over Sterling Silver)
Fully hallmarked Birmingham UK, handmade, fully tested.
Dates to 1970s though obviously designed to look much older.
Super size chunky signet ring with large white boulder opal.
Gemstones: Natural boulder opal, Emerald checkerboard cut with flashes of fire throughout. A massive opal measuring approx 29mm x 23mm.
Sure to get you noticed - this ring jumps off the finger as it is so "in your face".
Excellent wearable condition.
Width across front is 33 mm.
Depth of front and setting is 10.8 mm.
Width at back is 3.7mm.
UK Size is Q
US Size is 8.25.
Resizable by your jeweller (I do not resize without measuring the finger myself)
Massive at 22 grams !!!
Pricing an item like this is very difficult as it is not like you can just whip out and buy a replacement. As I have decided it is time to pass some of these items on I am just looking to recoup some of my investment. The stone alone is worth more than the asking price here.
