Hello there and welcome (kroeso) to my wee store.

I sell online in high-end shops and websites and pre-Covid used to attend trade fairs around the globe.  I have a huge stock of "bargain basement" items which were great at fairs for inexpensive extras.  I also have a massive stock of highly valuable and collectable items never seen before on the internet.

I find it heart-breaking that brooches such as this no longer seem to have the appeal they once did as they are one of the most versatile pieces of jewellery you could have.

ABOUT THIS BROOCH
Constructed from solid heavy 9ct gold (375 parts per 1000)
Fully hallmarked London UK and x-ray tested.
Dates to middle of the 20th Century (c1950s)
Features a highly detailed circular swirl design with excellent gold work.
Gemstones: Central round cabochon natural Bohemian garnet surrounded by rose cut matching garnets and white pearls with superb lustre.
Fastens with a gold hinge pin and roll over clasp - all in good order.
Condition is excellent, especially considering its age.

Diameter is 29.5mm.
It sits 13 mm proud.
Weight is 10 grams (to nearest)

You would expect to pay between £1,250 and £2,000 for a brooch like this at a fancy antique jeweller, depending on your ability to hunt down a bargain.

CONDITION REPORT
Many of my brooches are VERY old and have some signs of this.  I ensure they are fully operational and can be worn from arrival but I do not like polishing them to "as new" because I feel this detracts from their history.  I will consider doing so, for a small fee, if you ask nicely ;-)
