Victoria - 1863 Hawick to Peebles Envelope.
*162 years after this letter was posted to Stuart & Blackwood in Peebles, we find that the company still exists but is now called Blackwood & Smith, they are still writers and solicitors and are based in the High Street in Peebles. In fact I've had need use them on a couple of occasions.
Condition - Has been folded, probably for filing, stamp is affected by the fold, nothing inside envelope.
The scanned stamp is the actual stamp for sale, I do not use stock photos.
Having a massive clear out and selling most of my collection and only concentrating on certain areas.
Pay only one postage charge, no matter how many stamps you buy, as long as you request a new invoice and pay for everything on the same invoice.
