This is a rare UNIVERSAL STUDIOS MARDI GRAS 1997 HEAVY BRONZE & CLOISONNE COIN MEDALLION.
This beautiful medal was created for the 1997 Mardi Gras at Universal studios Florida, an annual event started in 1996 of which this was the 2nd.
For some reason the second one was called King Gatror's Fundango
The medallion is 1-1/2 inches in diameter (the size of a silver dollar) and weighs 33 grams ( 1-1/8 ounces) and appears to be made of bronze. It is a little smaller than the current ones. This medallion is attached to a key chain.
Information on this is hard to find and few ever seem to get listed
