For more than a month, since February 24, 2022, the enemy tried to occupy the territory of Chernihiv region in order to get as close as possible to the capital.

Despite the danger, the local residents put up active resistance: they created artificial obstacles for the advance of enemy vehicles on the roads, monitored their movements and transmitted information to the Armed Forces, that is, they did everything to help the defenders restrain the advance. offensive.

The Ukrainian military fought desperately for every meter of native land and by April 3, 2022, knocked out the Russian aggressor from the entire region.

With the release, peace did not return to the region, as the proximity of the border with Russia allows the enemy to launch constant rocket attacks on populated areas of the region.

But this did not prevent active recovery after the Russian invasion. Chernihiv region survived and is being rebuilt, and its residents deserve our sincere respect for their active struggle.
