Contains two speeches by Winston Churchill: 1. To the members of both Houses of the United States Congress at Washington on December 26th, 1941. 2. To the members of the Senate and of the House of Commons at Ottawa on December 30th, 1941. The second speech contains the well-known passage: “When I warned them that Britain would fight alone whatever they did, their generals told their Prime Minister and his divided Cabinet, >In three weeks England will have her neck wrung like a chicken. - Some chicken! - Some neck!<”
Some foxing, marking and creasing, lower corners dog-eared, with horizontal fold crease.
