Two Cornish Debbie Sayers Rocking Slab Vases

Two interesting 'rocking' slab vases, both have a slightly different design, in a cream glaze with embossed guilded decoration. Marked on the base 'Debbie Sayers 2003'. After completing her studio ceramics degree at Falmouth college in 2000, Debbie Sayers spent two years in a voluntary placement as a visiting lecturer teaching smoke firing, raku and slip decoration, as well as lecturing at Falmouth College of Art and Cornwall College. Since the spring of 2002 Debbie Sayers has been reseaching celtic studies with the University of Wales, as well as concentrating on her own work by focusing on her working process as well as continuing to develop her own skills, tecniques and level of professionalism. Reference taken from the 'Glasshouse Gallery' website. Both vases are in good condition, a little crazing and one pin prick mark on one of the gilt decorations, but no chips or cracks. Length 18.5cms, height approx' 9.5cms, width of one is 3cms and the other 3.5cms.
