Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1962 Gerald Thomas Comedy TWICE ROUND THE DAFFODILS, based on the play by Patrick Cargill and starring Juliet Mills, Donald Sinden, Donald Houston, Kenneth Williams, Ronald Lewuis, Joan Sims, Andrew Ray, Lance Percival and Jill Ireland.
Life on the ward of an NHS sanatorium, where one measure of health is to take a walk around the flowerbed in the gardens. The assorted TB patients include a tough Welsh miner who refuses to believe he is really ill, a sensitive orphan who writes poetry, a ladies' man, a chess player and a quiet man whose girlfriend may have decided to leave him. Some of the men develop crushes on some of the nurses and try to woo them.
The Advertisement is in very good condition with a vertical centre fold and 2 staples holes along it
