Original French 23 inch x 31 inch Poster for the 1974 John Guillermin & Irwin Allen Drama THE TOWERING INFERNO, Based on the novels ‘The Tower’ by Richard Martin Stern and ‘The Glass Inferno' by Thomas N. Scortia & Frank M. Robinson starring Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, William Holden, Faye Dunaway, Fred Astaire, Susan Blakely, Richard Chamberlain, Jennifer Jones, O.J. Simpson, Robert Vaughn and Robert Wagner.
At the opening party of a colossal—but poorly constructed—office building, a massive fire breaks out, threatening to destroy the tower and everyone in it.
Poster art by John Berkey (1932 - 2008). An American artist known for his space and science fiction-themed works. Some of Berkey's best-known work includes much of the original poster art for the Star Wars trilogy, Orca and the poster for the 1976 remake of King Kong.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
