Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1967 Arthur Hiller War Movie TOBRUK starring Rock Hudson, George Peppard, Guy Stockwell, Nigel Green and Jack Watson.
A Canadian POW major is rescued by a special British military unit made up of Germans to help lead an attack on a major Nazi fuel depot in Tobruk, Libya.
Poster art by Frank McCarthy (1924 - 2002). McCarthy was an American artist and realist painter known for advertisements, magazine artwork, paperback covers, film posters, and paintings of the American West.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a hole in the bottom left corner, a one inch tear in the left edge and other minor faults.
