Printed colour postcard showing a view of a young girl in Swansea writing a letter to her sweetheart, British soldier abroad, and used as examples of general and Christmas editions of cards which could be customised for any particular town. The back contains details of the Local Postcards. A similar sample card, "You are in My Thoughts this Christmas at Bedford", designed to be sent in the opposite direction from the troops abroad has also been listed today.
Published by John Thidgould & Co, London, The Pioneer Series, not numbered, c.1915.

Good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but crease to bottom right corner.
