bg126 This antique circa 90 years or more origin postcard is a souvenir of this historic painting of Morpeth Bridge by Thomas Girtin who was an English watercolourist and etcher. A friend and rival of J. M. W. Turner, Girtin played a key role in establishing watercolour as a reputable art form. This is an original British Museum souvenir published by Waterlow and Sons in London and this specialist exhibit postcard is unused and mint.
