Yardage is based on 42-inch wide fabric
1-1/8 yards BEIGE PRINT #1 for flying geese units and applique foundation blocks
1/2 yard RED PRINT for flying geese units, flower center appliques, and large leaf appliques
5/8 yard GREEN PRINT #1 for center square, large leaf and swag appliques
1-7/8 yards BEIGE PRINT #2 for outer border
5/8 yard GREEN PRINT #2 for inner border and small leaf appliques
1/4 yard RED FLORAL for outer flower appliques
1/4 yard GOLD PRINT for inner flower appliques and small leaf appliques
5/8 yard RED PRINT for binding
3-1/4 yards Backing fabric
2 yards Freezer paper for leaf, outer flower, and swag appliques
Template material for appliques
Lightweight cardboard for flower center and inner flower appliques
Quilt batting, at least 58-inches square
A rotary cutter, mat, and wide clear plastic ruler with 1/8-inch markings are necessary tools in attaining accuracy. A 6 x 24-inch ruler is recommended.
