Printed monochrome postcard with hand-tinted Union Flag showing an illustration by William Armitage of the head of a lion, titled "A Tribute to our Colonies" and stating "The Glory of a Lion is his Mane".
Published by Boots The Chemist, Patriotic Series, not numbered, c.1915.
Postally used, date not clear, with single circle Wigtoft cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss M. Vinter, Gehovah Jirch, Donington, Spalding, Lincolnshire.
Fairly good condition, with slight corner bumps, but crease to bottom right corner and knock to bottom left corner.
