'THE COUNTRY WIFE' by Constance Howard Jigsaw Puzzle.
A mura; designed by Constance Howard and commissiomned for the Festival of Britain in 1951. Crafted in applique and embroidery and fesaturing 3D figures the mural is designed to depict some of the crafts and activities practiced by the Women's Institute at the time. Most of the work was completed by Constance Howard assisted by Students from Goldsmith College who helped out in their spare time.
