This scarce clandestine publication is innocently disguised for distribution within Nazi Germany. What appears on the outside to be a small booklet with instructions for playing the German card game “Schafkopf” actually contains the “Kommunistische Internationale, Jg. 19, 1938, Nr. 7,” a communist publication featuring articles by Herbert Wehner (writing under the pseudonym Kurt Funk), Wilhelm Florin, and Edwin Hoernle.

Slightly soiled and marked, owner’s inscription in pencil to inside rear cover, first pages dog-eared, some light creasing throughout, still a very good copy.
