TAP JAW, the revolutionary tap lock, is the ultimate solution for securing your water taps. 

TAP JAW has been designed to secure wall or post mounted taps, but allow the tap to be fully accessed to allow the connection of hoses or the free filling of watering cans or buckets.

If your wall tap is been accessed or subject to damage, then TAP JAW could be the solution. This enclosure has been designed to allow taps to be locked but also have the flexibility to provide full access to the tap when in operation.

It has designed to be strong available in either 1.5mm thick powder coated steel or marine grade 316L stainless steel. TAP JAW can provide protection from impacts and unauthorised use of the water point.

The TAP JAW product comes with oversized rivets, soft edges and two doors to allow access to your water tap. Perfect for outdoor settings where maximum protection is required.

The TAP JAW is secured using a padlock (not supplied) so gives the user the flexibility to have common keys across several TAP JAW units. 

TAP JAW can be used by a home owner to protect their outside tap from knocks and bangs, plus allows a hose to be connected in its locked and unlocked positions. If your water point is accessible to neighbours or the general public then TAP JAW can secure the tap. It has been sized to accommodate most UK tap configurations.

TAP JAW is also popular with HVAC engineers, plumbers and building contractors that are required to secure water points in commercial settings. Commercial or communal settings that require regular access to water taps like schools, allotments, colleges, open spaces, cemeteries, church yards and campsites can all use TAP JAW tap boxes to lock and protect their taps.

TAP JAW is available in two variants:

• Powder Coated Steel. 1.5mm Zn coated steel with a silver silver Pantone 877C powder coating to provide excellent corrosion protection and resistance to UV.  All hinges and bolts are stainless steel. Perfect for normal use.
• Stainless Steel. 1.5mm 316L Stainless Steel. If you require an enclosure for more demanding conditions where corrosion could be an issue (coastal locations, harbours) or high level of cleanliness is required (Dairies, farms, food preparation, chemical) this is the product you need. TAP JAW Stainless is made out of 316 stainless steel. This has a higher level of corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, especially in environments with chloride or saline exposure. This is due to the presence of molybdenum in 316, which protects against chlorides and chlorinated solutions.
