Original 9 3/8 inch x 7 1/8 inch Black and White Still of ANNA KARINA in the 1963 Jacques Baratier Comedy SWEET AND SOUR.
Anna Karina was born in Copenhagen in 1940. A former model, she appeared in several Danish advertising films and arrived in France as the star of a Danish short that won a prize at the Cannes Festival. Her career in French films was launched by Jean-Luc Godard, who married her in 1961 and divorced her in 1967. Her impulsive personality was highlighted in several of his films, as well as in those of other French New Wave directors.
The still is in very good condition with a synopsis tacked to the reverse.
