Original British 12 1/8 inch x 9 inch 14 page illustrated Pressbook for the 1950 Roberto Rossellini Drama STROMBOLI (SROMBOLI, TERRA DI DIO) starring Ingrid Bergman, Mario Vitale, Renzo Cesana, Mario Sponzo and Gaetano Famularo.
Rossellini’s brooding, delicate film about an attractive Lithuanian refugee (Bergman) who marries a young Italian fisherman (Vitale) to escape internment only to find herself trapped by the isolation and tedium of her new life. When she becomes pregnant shee flees as the volcano of the title symbolically erupts.
The pressbook is in very good condition with minor cover soiling.
