Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1949 Sam Wood drama, based on the true story of baseball player Monty Stratton who pitched for the Chicago White Sox from 1934-1938 and starring James Stewart, June Allyson, Frank Morgan, Agnes Moorehead, Bill Williams, Gene Bearden (as himself) and Holmes Herbert.

Biopic of baseball player Monty Stratton (Stewart), whose career is shattered after a hunting accident results in the amputation of his leg.

Poster printed by Stafford & Co., Ltd., Netherfield, Nottingham and London No. 9187A

The poster is in fine folded condition. There is a pinhole in each corner.
