1st Edition. The Ascent of six great North faces of the Alps :- Grand Jorasses; Piz Badile; Matterhorn; Drus; Cima Grande di Lavaredo; Eiger. Translated by Wilfrid Noyce, and Sir John Hunt. Black & White photos. There is an inscription of the original book owner (dated 1971). Wrapper is price-clipped. There is a brown band along the top and bottom edges of the wrapper which are marks from old sellotape (see photo), but the book is unmarked by this. The wrapper (now plastic-protected) has nibbles at top and bottom of spine, lower corner, and a small closed tear on lower rear edge.
