Special order of the Day from Field Marshal Alexander to all Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Forces in the Mediterranean Theatre. Allied Force Headquarters, April 1945.
Original one-sided leaflet, signed in the print. 152 x 203 mm.
The last Axis forces in Italy surrendered on May 2, 1945.
Ink annotations (numbers) in the lower left corner, edges worn, chipped and creased, corners dog-eared, previously folded in eighth, fair only.
