Seller's Description
Made by Sowerby in Amber glass this biscuit barrel is usually known as the "Pandora's Box" design.
Like many others, this one has lost its lid. These days they are often re-purposed as vases or jardineres.
A large and heavy piece in excellent condition.
Free from chips, cracks and scratches.
Does have a few air bubbles in the glass.
Height. 5 3/4 inches. (14.5cms approx.)
Rim. 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches. (12 x 12cms approx.)
