Young Frankenstein (Rathbone) starts to dabble in his father’s business and decides to bring monster Karloff back to life. Creepy sets add depth and darkness to the third of Universal’s classic trio of Frankenstein films, with added spookiness coming from Lugosi’s sly shepherd Ygor, who uses the monster to take revenge on his enemies, and Atwill’s morose police inspector.
