Original U.S. 10 inch x 8 inch Still of LYNN REDGRAVE & RITA TUSHINGHAM in the 1967 Desmond Davis Musical Comedy SMASHING TIME.
Location outside a restaurant and newsagents in a now demolished street in Gospel Oak, North London.
One of the newspapers on display is the Sunday Express with the headline “MALTA BIG TROOP MOVE CANCELLED” - This was due to the Six Day War between Egypt and Israel which closed the Suez Canal for 6 days.
There is also a poster in the shop window for Player’s Navy Cut Cigarettes - “A Man Gets Real Pleasure from Players”.
Plus signs for Tizer a red-coloured soft drink launched in 1924 by Fred Pickup of Manchester.
The still is in fine condition.
